The Indian Army is inviting applications from unmarried male engineering graduates for the 142nd Technical Graduate Course (TGC). The course will begin in January 2026 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, and will lead to a Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Candidates must be between 20 to 27 years old as on 01 January 2026.
• Only candidates born between 02 January 1999 and 01 January 2006 (inclusive) can apply.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have either:
  • Completed an Engineering Degree in a relevant stream, or
  • Be in the final year of their Engineering program.
• Final-year students must submit all required mark sheets and proof of passing the degree by 01 January 2026.
• The Engineering Degree Certificate must be submitted within 12 weeks from the start of training at IMA.
• Candidates admitted without the final degree must sign a bond, and may have to repay training costs if they fail to meet degree requirements.
